Raise The Praise
Speaker's Guidelines

Raise The Praise welcomes you as our guest speaker:

If you are reading this, you have been chosen to speak at Raise The Praise and we are honored to have you.  Please read carefully the following guidelines and expectations.

As the chosen speaker for Raise The Praise you are asked to be very sensitive to all who attend.  You will be speaking to a mix crowd of people who may or may not have a relationship with The Lord and some may or may not be attending a fellowship where they are versed on spiritual matters.  Our purpose and goal as a ministry is to minister the love of Jesus and how His abounding love is able to lift us from a life of despair and give us hope.  You may do that via your own personal testimony and incorporate it with Scriptures.  We do not call people out of the crowd for any reason, thus causing confusion and it becoming a spectacle.  We ask that you keep your message focused on God's redeeming love, mercy and grace.  Please do not go beyond that into teaching about church doctrine, or speaking in unknown tongues, healing, etc or what any particular denomination believes; remember you will have attendee's from all denominations and we are not here to crown any denomination or their teachings, our only teaching is sharing the love of Jesus and His power to redeem, give hope, forgive sins and restore broken lives.

For further theology teachings, we recommend those who may come forward, receiving their new found faith, to connect to a fellowship where they can continue to be discipled; so please stay within these guidelines.

After you have spoken and you are giving an invitation for those who who want to make a commitment to faith in Jesus and or rededicate to their faith, we ask you to pray collectively for all who come forward and from that point we have a prayer team who can pray with them at the designated area. Please explain to the new or recommitted converts to follow the prayer team to the designated area where they will receive a Bible and be asked to fill out an information card. At that point, the prayer team will ask if there are any special needs for prayer, if so the prayer team will pray for each person's needs at that time.   Now, if someone comes forward, specifically for you to pray for some special need be it physical, emotional, etc, we ask that you to have them go with you over to the designated area so they can speak with you and the prayer team. NEVER speak with ANYONE in private and do not go into counseling, share Scripture ONLY and then pray.  If there is a desperate need, contact me immediately and we will move forward from there.

Again, NEVER call anyone out of the attending audience for any reason or purpose and NEVER pray with anyone in private, ever.

The information cards are for the purpose of connecting all who come forward to a local church for further education in their new found faith in Jesus.

Thank you for staying within these guidelines and we look forward to our Lord using you as His vessel of honor to speak His love into the hearts of all who attend.
